Marco Bombardithinking out loud
June 20 Luca
- The world stopped. For a moment, the world went completely silent and was filled with peace, harmony and joy. - A decision, emotion, some pain….and then the cry. The lungs are filled with air. The magic of life demonstrated in a mix of love and pain, nature and humanity. The radical change of environment triggers the cry that breaks the silence.
A journey begins; The journey of a new life.

Dear Luca: Teacher, student, partner and son. You have been teaching us for nine months and we very much want to continue teaching you and learning from you.
We wish that you become a master in being yourself and in the art of living, being happy and making others happy.
With our eternal Love, Mom and Dad June 17 Baby NewsI’m happy to share that Ludmila gave birth to our son Luca Veloso Bombardi on 6/9/08 at 6:51PM. Luca came into this world weighing 8lb 7oz, measuring 20 inches and is doing great. Ludmila more then earned her right to motherhood and I am extremely proud of her. She is also doing great and we’re both ecstatic with the arrival of Luca into our lives.
Thank you so much for your good wishes, thoughts and support throughout this process.
Warm regards, The Bombardi Family March 08 Elliptical MeditationDon't try it on a treadmill! Okay, the idea is not as "new agey" as the title might sound. I've had an elliptical trainer in the basement for a little over a year now and use it very often, surprisingly or not to exercise and not to hang clothes (also works great for that, though). I've also been doing meditation for a little while now, with and without BWE. It was just recently that occurred to me that the repetitive motion in the elliptical, my slightly darker basement and the quiet environment without TV or music, could also create a setting where I could focus my mind and use meditation techniques. So, I decided to experiment with it. The whole idea is pretty simple. I just keep the basement lights shut, blinds closed, shut off any source of noise, get on the elliptical and for about 20 mins of my usual 45 min basic routine I close my eyes, focus on my breathing, take very deep and relaxing breaths and eventually the elliptical exercise motion moves into "auto-pilot", becoming virtually subconscious, while my mind is immersed in my breathing...if I dare say it...meditating. All I can say is that in my experience it feels great. When I'm done I feel a bit like when leaving a good yoga class. With the exercise getting the blood pumping and oxygen flowing (even more when I use a “Breathe Right”), both body and mind feel great.
