-from a corner near you
Arguing with reality is a losing game.
Worry, is a clever mind trick that often gives a false sense of action.
-the clock ticks.
Acceptance, a good step towards a clear mind that can create and act.
-need a plan.
Resistance is out; Resourcefulness is in!
-what are *ALL* of the options?
Choice; Planning; Action! February 24 the visitthe visit A deep look into his eyes connects our souls. No words are needed, but "Papa" links mind and heart. He takes a deep breath. In all of his fragility and innocence he closes his eyes, completely letting go of control and resistance. He is pure trust, peace and bliss in my arms. I take a breath holding him tight and I am there, too. Pause. He opens his eyes with a broad smile. Our eyes reconnect. Remember that is, and will always be there, Son; It is simply human. Visit often. November 24 Giving ThanksThanksgiving
Out of the American traditions, the Thanksgiving holiday is the one I enjoy and identify with the most. I truly resonate with what it represents and incites in people.
Gratitude is a contagious and extremely powerful state. Taking time to fully immerse ourselves in it, bathing in the richness of our own lives and feeling the inebriating connection to all that makes it possible allows us to circle the path and return to that center one could simply call home.
In that spirit of thankfulness and gratitude, I'd like to share a small and deliberately incomplete list of things I feel grateful for in no particular order:

Marco Bombardi Gratitude: Practice Daily. Have You felt grateful Today? October 31 You know there is a baby in your life when:You know there is a baby in your life when:
- you find good and perferctly logical reasons to celebrate poop - you see bright colored items showing up all over the house among your adult colored decoration - you consider anything more then 4 hours of contiuous sleep a full night - you don't know if you are forgetting things because of sleep deprivation or because you don't find the time to write them down when you do remember them - you think the iPhone got nothing on your crib monitor - you find yourself dreaming in baby talk - you catch yourself whisteling Mozart tunes - you learn how to do surprising things with one hand - you have a credit in the dining section of your credit card statement - you catch yourself rocking from side to side whenever you stop somewhere - you get introduced to extreme sports by baby manicure - you learn of new muscles your workout was never able to target but carrying the baby managed to make them ache - you can relate to the neighborhood slow down signs - you notice society seems to be subdivided not only between the have-kids and the don't-have-kids but also by kids ages - ... - and you truly feel it is all worth it... September 27 A musical baby talk duetLuca loves when I play a little guitar for him and usually "sings along" - I just had to try and capture a bit of it. Quote Luca & Marco |
